Honor 9N - The NEW Budget Smartphone with a Notch

Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Huawei had launched their new budget smartphone in India last week, Honor 9N. This smartphone will be sold in INDIA exclusively via Flipkart. Honor 9N is powered by the Kirin 659 Octa-core processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, featuring a display of 5.84 IPS LCD FULL HD, screening an aspect ratio 19:9 with pixel density 432 ppi 

Honor 9N is equipped with rear dual camera 13MP+2MP (Depth Sensor). Front facing camera is a 16MP shooter which is also capable of taking high-quality selfies in portrait or bokeh mode. Both the rear and front cameras can record videos in 1080p@30fps  

Though the built-in battery is 3000mAh with no fast charging adapter, still the Kirin 659 processor punches the device to a very power efficient smartphone which can easily last you for more than a day with a single charge.

Android Oreo 8.0 comes out of the box with this device. Face Detection, Finger Print Scanner, FM Radio and all major sensors are bundled. A single bottom firing speaker handles the audio along with the 3.5mm headphone jack. Dual Nano Sim/Hybrid slot tray is opted in Honor 9N, though true 4G support in both the sim slots is not currently available in this phone.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 (6GB RAM/ 64GB ROM) is finally set to go on sale on 31.07.2018. It is currently priced at 14,999 INR and can be purchased via Flipkart. 3GB/32 GB and 4GB/64GB variants of Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1was launched earlier this year.

The never-ending 5000mAh battery of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 was the major highlight of its previous models, so considering the sales point, Asus has maintained the same 5000mAh battery under the hood for the new variant.

Dual Nano Sim slot and a dedicated SD card slot is provided in this model, making it more demanding in the mid-range market.

Andriod Oreo 8.1 is the version that comes out of the box.

The camera is another department Asus had improved with this device. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 6GB variant now has a new pair of lenses. Rear Camera having 16MP(f2/.0)+5MP and Front camera with 16MP(f2/.0)

There is no change in the processor or display modules. Still having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC (OctaCore) with 5.99 Full HD LCD IPS display with aspect ratio 18:9 at 401 ppi density.
